Fruit-infused Balsamic Reduction Dressings

The Verlaque range of Balsamic Reductions combine wild fruits (Marula) and flora (Rooibos & Fynbos honey) from Southern Africa, tropical fruits from Northern, Central and Southern Africa (Mangoes, Figs, Passion Fruit and Pomegranate), spices from the East (Star Anise, Cinnamon, Ginger and Clove), berries from Europe and the Americas (Cranberries and Raspberry), slowly cooked with aged balsamic vinegar from Modena, Italy and grape vinegar from the Western Cape of South Africa.

These versatile condiments can be used on salads, on steamed and roasted vegetables, as marinades and drizzles, and with desserts and cheeses.

Infused Olive Oils

Fruit-/Herb-/Spice-infused Extra Virgin Olive Oils

The Verlaque range of Infused Extra Virgin Olive Oils are made with award-winning Cape extra virgin olive oil (a blend of Mission and Frantoia).

Unlike most flavoured olive oils (which use essences), Verlaque infuse their olive oil with fresh herbs (sweet basil and wild garlic) and dried spices (birdseye chili and cayenne pepper) to achieve their distinctive burst-in-the-mouth flavour.

Our Cape Lemon infused olive oil is created by crushing lemon zest in the last stages of the olive oil pressing process.

Sole marinated in Lemon-infused Olive Oil and Cape Gooseberry Balsamic Reduction.

Combinations of infused Olive Oils & infused Balsamic Reductions

The Verlaque range of "Splashes" combine our infused Olive Oils and infused Balsamic Reductions in vinaigrettes that are ideal for the table to 'splash' on salads, but equally to use as marinades and sauces.
